Patrick leads major client projects on development and implementation of major growth projects and is an experienced regeneration professional and expert at working across public and private sector partnerships. He had overall delivery responsibility for the North West Development Agency’s £250m annual investment programme in Manchester and Merseyside, which included major investment in Liverpool port and waterfront. Patrick is also an experienced analytical researcher and is currently leading our work with UK Government on the spatial inequalities of social mobility and inclusive recovery.

Patrick is an expert on the relationship between cities and towns and central Government and the development and delivery of local growth. His experience comes from 15 years working both at the centre of Government and directly in and with local places. Patrick was a Director in the UK Civil Service, in the DCLG and Cabinet Office, where he led on the co-ordination of health and welfare reform policy and was Principal Private Secretary to two Cabinet Ministers.
