Principal Consultant

Nathan's role as a Principal Consultant is to help policy makers understand and shape economies. He has eight years' experience in designing and implementing strategies, with expertise in employment and skills policy, industrial strategy, innovation, economic crisis management, and, lately, helping local places succeed in securing funding for their most important projects. An experienced project lead, Nathan manages projects from start to finish, engaging with stakeholders, building evidence bases and publishing major reports which influence policy.

Nathan has dual Bachelors degrees in Economics and Arts (Political Science) from the University of Queensland in Australia (2:1), where he focused on political economy, social policy, finance and trade. Prior to joining Metro Dynamics Nathan was a manager in PwC Australia’s economics and policy consulting practice, where he specialised in education and employment policy design and implementation.
