Eleanor Springer

Principal Consultant

Eleanor is a Principal Consultant at Metro Dynamics, where her work focuses on inclusive growth through innovation and major project investment. Eleanor works with clients to take projects from strategy to implementation, building operational capacity and knowhow as well as new approaches to public service. Eleanor spent two years managing and developing a Vision 2050 for the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, which will guide the campus in become a thriving innovation district. More recently, Eleanor has worked with London Councils and Birmingham City Council to shape strategic thinking on infrastructure investment and its links to socioeconomic impact. She has a particular interest in bringing together investment models to make sustainable, innovative and inclusive places.

Last year, Eleanor completed a course in Sustainable Finance through the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Eleanor previously completed her MSc in Local Economic Development at the London School of Economics, working with an international department known for contributing to EU and UK devolution and inclusive growth policies. Eleanor also has a record of public service, and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in the US.
